Terms of Use
ST. PETER'S COLLEGE OF ORMOC, INC. — SPC-O Grading System
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Who may use this system
SPC-O Grading System is a private system for the enrolled students, faculty, and staff of ST. PETER'S COLLEGE OF ORMOC, INC. Accounts are created and assigned by the school administrator. There is no public sign-up, and accounts may not be created by users themselves.
2. Your account is yours alone
- Do not share your password with anyone, including colleagues and family.
- Do not let another person use your account, and do not use anyone else's.
- Change your password immediately if you believe someone else knows it, and report it to the administrator.
- Actions taken through your account are attributed to you in the system's audit log.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access, or attempt to access, records belonging to students or classes that are not yours.
- Copy, export, publish, or share student grades or personal details with anyone who is not entitled to see them — this includes posting them in group chats or social media.
- Attempt to bypass, probe, or interfere with the system's security or access controls.
- Enter false, malicious, or deliberately inaccurate information.
Misuse may result in suspension of access and disciplinary action under the school's existing policies, and, where personal data is involved, may carry liability under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
4. Grades shown here are not final until released
A grade becomes visible to a student only after it has passed the school's approval chain — Faculty, Academic Chairperson, College Dean, Head, and Registrar — and been released by the Registrar. Grades displayed to teachers and approvers before release are provisional and may change. The official academic record is the one held by the Registrar's Office. Where this system and the Registrar's record differ, the Registrar's record governs.
5. Availability
The school aims to keep SPC-O Grading System available during normal school hours but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The system may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside the school's control. Deadlines affected by an outage are handled at the discretion of the College Dean.
6. Reporting a problem
Report incorrect grades, missing students, or suspected security problems to the IT and AVR Office (it@spcormoc.edu.ph). Teachers should use the "Report Missing Student" function in the system for students missing from a class list. Do not attempt to work around a problem by using another person's account.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Continued use of the system after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
